My devotion today brought up some interesting questions to me and it gave me lots to think about.

The questions from Romans ‭10:14‬ ‭should speak volumes to all believers and followers of Christ. ‬ _____________________________________________ 1) How can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? People who don’t believe in God aren’t going to call on Him when things are rough. Most nonbelievers only “pray” when something major is happening, and then get mad when God doesn’t answer their “prayers” the way they wanted. But how can God answer a prayer of someone He doesn’t know? The Bible says, “No one can come to the Father except through Jesus.” (John‬ ‭14:6‬) So if they don’t believe in Him, how can He answer them? 2) How can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? Do you honestly think that a nonbeliever goes to church on a regular basis? Of course not! So how would they know or believe in Him if no one has ever told them. The Bible tells us that as believers, God should be able to use us to show all future generations, examples of His incredible grace and kindness toward His people. He should also be able to show all He has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. (Ephesians‬ ‭2:7‬)

3) How can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? We as Christians have always heard that we should go and share Christ, but how many of us actually do that? How many of us jump at the opportunity to randomly share the gospel with a complete stranger? As Christians we should always remember that we can do everything through Christ, who gives us strength, ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬) so shouldn’t that also include sharing our faith? Preachers aren’t the only ones who should be telling others about Christ. We should as a body of believers sing about the glory of His name! We should go out and tell the world how glorious He is. (Psalms‬ ‭66:2‬)
