Are you feeling afraid?
Are you feeling discouraged?
Are you feeling like nothing is going right?
Are you feeling weak?
Are you feeling like you can't go on?
Do you feel like no one is there to help you?
All these questions can be solved and answered with one simple verse:
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10-
So…
· Are you afraid-He is with you
· Are you discouraged-He is our God
· Are you weak-He will strengthen you
· Are you alone-He will help you
Why do we try so hard to forget these key points, and sweep them under the rug? Why do we try so hard to pretend as if we don’t know or need the answers? Our answers are right here! I will admit these past few weeks, with attempting my riding test, I have found it very difficult to remember these answers. Many times I have felt like throwing in the towel and giving up, but this verse and the following ones, have helped me a lot, and even though I didn’t feel good or strong or helped, I turned over to God. He had it all under control and He brought me through it.
Read on:
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” -Isaiah 40:31-
“For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” -Isaiah 41:13-
“But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, ‘Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.’” -Isaiah 43:1-2-
